What do people think of the K-2 meter. I see a lot of groups using them if someone has used it let us know. and if it works.

Just an opinion here. I was an electrician by trade for a decent amount of time and I had used devices such as the K2 meter. They perform their functions beautifully. In regards to ghost hunting, I think the use of them is situational. If there is any sort of electricity feeding into a place you are investigating, then I think the K2 use should be limited. Especially on older houses where the wiring methods are horrid.
On the other hand, if it is a known fact that there will not be any man-made electrical interference, I think that they are an invaluable ghost hunting tool. I havnt had much experience with them in ghost hunting, but I have seen the results and I am impressed.

Yea we just bought one and yes you are right a lot of investigators do not do basline readings before they investigate. and in older houses the wireing was not insulated so they think they got something. we check out each place before we start the investigation. we have gotten some good results with the k-II meter i love it. easy to use.thanks for you post.

Well we have used the k-II meter on a couple of investigation's and have gotton some good results. We will be puting them up on the video evidence page. As far as i can tell i like the k-II meter better then the emf. But i will still use both of them together. What i like about the k-II meter is that is was made for ghost hunting and it works real nice and easy to use. So if you still have not bought one get one now. I got mine form the guy that made them for a lot of paranormal groups on tv. There website is www.k2emfmeter.com. Tell them ECTO sent you.

We use the K2 to facilitate communication but not for actual field detection or to obtain baseline readings, its far to sensitive. Also two way radios in the area will cause false readings. To see an example of this turn on the K2 and key a two way radio.

Yea same here. We use the emf for baseline readings and the k-II to facilitate communication. Yea we found that if you key the two radio you can make the k-II dance all night long. I posted a blog on here about using the K-II meter when you have two way radio. Thnks for the post mike.
