When you go on a investigation make sure you check your batteries. We have had people on our investigation that thought they had great results with there emf and k-II meters only to find out there batteries were low.  When the cell sensor's batteries get low it goes sporadic causing it to give false readings. The emf -822a has a low batt display that comes up. So make sure you check your batteries on every new investigation. 

Yes batteries, but do not throw them away sometimes they are still good check them frist.
