Conditions: 48 degrees, light rain

A daytime investigation in an open restaurant is always hard to do.  We arrived in the early afternoon and set up our video camera and did some baseline readings.  As we entered, several of the team members felt nauseous in the room with the fireplace.

As the investigation got going one of the team members felt as if being strangled every time she tried to enter the room they call the “Honeymoon Suite”.  Later, talking with staff it was discovered that they believe this is the room where “Frank”, the resident ghost, killed himself.  The staff member said she notices a chair moved out of position in that room every morning.

The emf detectors were going crazy in the stairway.  One of the members did some pendulum dowsing and found out that there were two children present.  They were a 14 year old girl and an eleven year old boy.  When she mentioned this to the owner, she was told that several other psychics had felt the presence of two children named Piper and Squire.  Our team member asked if this was indeed them and they answered in the affirmative.

Two very strong evps were picked up on the third floor.  They were believed to say “Get out” and “can’t you hear me”.  Also on the third floor a guest said she felt energy to her left and a picture was snapped and an orb appeared where she felt the energy.

Re-Investigation

Conditions:  Clear and 82 degrees

We went back to Blaser’s and were joined by Mark Apostolon, a producer from Comcast, Tim O’Shea from the Concord Monitor, and Roxie Zwicker from New England Curiosities.

The team set up the equipment as the guests were reviewing evidence from previous investigations.  The team did baseline readings.  As they did this, they were able to debunk the high emf readings on the stairwell from the previous investigation.

It was very difficult to investigate as the restaurant was open for dinner.  There was none of the activity that was present on the first investigation. It was a disappointment for us as we had these wonderful guests present.

Tim O’Shea wrote a very nice article about us in the Concord Monitor and Roxie Zwicker mentioned the team in her book “Haunted Pubs of New England”.  We thank our guests for their kindness and for joining us.  And if you would like to learn more about “Frank”, you can read about him on the Blaser’s Fireside Tavern website.
