Goffstown Historical
Saturday, April 12th
Conditions: 60 degrees and overcast
We arrived at the Historical Society at
Ronnie, Wally and Alissa were setting up the cameras as Tim, Audra and Aaron went around and did baseline readings. We were then joined by Elinor Porritt, Historical Society Curator, and Barbara Mace the Assistant Curator. They elaborated on the brief history we had already received and gave us the names of some of the former residents of the building. After the cameras were set, we went dark.
At
Fifteen minutes later Aaron had an encounter with an apparition. He and Wally were in the model train room when he saw a little girl coming toward him. He said she was see through but reddish in color. An evp captured in the train room sounds like a child making train whistle noises. At the same time, upstairs Ronnie and Alissa were in the attic doing an evp session and captured a mist forming on film.
Ronnie and Wally were in the attic when they experienced the feeling of something rubbing against their legs. Then everyone heard a loud bang like a door shutting but everyone was down at the base and there were no doors to slam in the attic. The slamming sound was in the audio when reviewed.. Wally also got some pictures with a black mist progressing through them.
Alissa and Ronnie were upstairs when the camcorder appeared to shut off. The screen went black and the buttons were unresponsive, but the camera was still taping. Tim and Audra went into the attic. They fell a weak presence but were unable to get strong energy readings on their dowsing equipment. While they were there they asked that if there was a presence with them could it make a noise. They heard a slight rapping and asked for it to make another noise. After reviewing the audio, there was definitely a response to their request. The team wrapped up the investigation. Before we left, Mac Morgrage did us the honor of allowing us to see the model trains in action.
We would like to thank the members of the Goffstown Historical Society for their kindness in allowing us to come into the building and investigate. Check out the evidence page for the pictures and evps we captured during this investigation.
