America's Stonehenge-Spirits Among the Ruins

America’s Stonehenge Ghost hunt

Saturday, October 4th

Condition: A still 59 degree evening

The evening started off with the ECTO Team and 31 ghost hunters meeting in the lecture room.  Pat Stone gave a quick history of the site.  ECTO gave a brief review of findings from the last investigation they did at America’s Stonehenge.  They also did a quick run down on the equipment they use, what to expect, and basic ghost hunting procedures.  Then it was off to the site.

Everyone stopped at the Watch House before proceeding to the main site.  We did an evp session and only one ghost hunter was brave enough to venture inside.  After stopping for a few minutes we moved on to the main site.  Walking the trails in the dark was at times a challenge, but everyone made it through the evening safely.

At the main site people were able to use some of the equipment that ECTO had with them.  Everyone wandered the main site for a while.  ECTO members did dowsing, evp sessions, and emf detection and took temperature readings.  The Oracle Chamber seemed to be quite active.  The group got some strong EMF readings and some of the pictures taken there showed activity. We separated into two groups and took turns going to the lower well.  Eventually everyone gathered back at the main site and was escorted back to the Visitors Center.

Everyone on the hunt has been invited to submit any evidence they captured during the hunt.  Please remember to include your name and a brief description of what you are submitting.  We would like to thank all the adventurers that came out and made the ghost hunt a success.

America’s Stonehenge Ghost hunt

Friday, October 17th

Condition: A calm 50 degree evening

The evening started off with the ECTO Team and 35 ghost hunters meeting in the lecture room.  Pat Stone gave a quick history of the site.  ECTO gave a brief review of findings from the last investigation they did at America’s Stonehenge.  They also did a quick run down on the equipment they use, what to expect, and basic ghost hunting procedures.  Then it was off to the site.

We split into three groups of 12 ghost hunters and two Team ECTO members.  Ron, Mike and Alissa covered the Watch Chamber and Lower Well sites.  Wally and Aaron were on the Main site and Tim and Audra were at the North Star Alignment Stone. The groups investigated for about 25 minutes then moved to work with different Team ECTO members.  Walking the trails in the dark was at times a challenge, but everyone made it through the evening safely.

At the Watch Chamber and Lower Well ghost hunters were educated on the use EMF detectors.  Ronnie, Alissa and Mike were answering questions and giving pointers about EMF and spirit photography. At the main site Wally and Aaron did EVP sessions as well as spirit photography.  It seems that the Oracle Chamber was a place that few wanted to venture to that night.  Tim and Audra taught pendulum and L-rod dowsing at the North Star Alignment Stone.  There seemed to be a lot of energy up until it was time to go.

At the appointed time everyone gathered at the Main site one last time to take any last minute pictures and ask any questions then returned to the lecture room.  Everyone on the hunt has been invited to submit any evidence they captured during the hunt.  Please remember to include your name and a brief description of what you are submitting.  We would like to thank all the adventurers that came out and made the ghost hunt a success.
